The New Proteus Jaguar D Type Legends are proud to offer the new Proteus D Type to the market. The Proteus D Type body is copied from original factory drawings and is correct in every dimension and from every viewpoint. The straight six Jaguar 3.8 engine and independent suspension are probably very close to the way the original racing cars would have been developed had they remained in production longer. The 3.8 engine, which was built by Classic and Modern Engines, breathes through triple Weber 45 DCOA carburetors and is mated to a five-speed T5 transmission. These elements, matched to a precision welded chassis frame, give a unique combination of performance and balanced handling – perfectly matched to today’s driving conditions. The car offered here is available for immediate delivery. The body is in its natural aluminum state, which has been polished to perfection. The car can be painted to the new owners specification or simply left as it is. Warrantee and road registered. Stunning! POA
